We own Bohemian Barbecue out of Cedar Park Texas and often need to store large quantities of meat when traveling and cooking offsite where refrigeration isn’t available. Prime Brisket is expensive and food safety is critical so we chose the biggest and best cooler on the market. When we aren’t cooking, we are fishing and hunting… and YETI just gets it. Ryan and Roy Seiders and team nailed it!

Wow wow wow! This YETI cooler is just enormous, exactly what we need in case of a power outage and for daily use as a refrigerator in winter. Our UPS delivery man said all the other UPS drivers gathered around this morning just to admire the box and chatter about how useful it would be during hunting season. We are homesteaders and often keep several hundred pounds of venison, wild hog, free range beef and lamb, plus home-raised turkeys, ducks, and chickens in our freezers; this YETI represents peace of mind in case the electricity goes out for extended periods (in 2009 the power went out for an entire month due to ice storms). Best of all, we’ll be able to shut down our two refrigerators altogether in winter and just use our new gigantic YETI for several months each year. Savings on our electrical bills should pay for this beautiful monster in about 6 years, if my calculations are correct. This summer we also plan to build a special straw bale lined 6’ tall structure with a tin roof for it just outside our back door to see if it could become an “ice house” for use year round. We are absolutely thrilled with this purchase!
