Heavy-duty T-Rex Lid Latches with molded-in keepers fasten the lid securely closed. Molded-in, full-length, self-stopping hinges mean you never have to replace a hinge again.

    We are a young family of 5 and use the cooler for camping. Be prepared to ask for help carrying it when filled with ice and food. It holds enough food for a long weekend and the right amount of beer to get me through camping with 3 children and a wife that drives an Escalade and gets her nails done twice a week. I basically had to sell a kids kidney on the black market to afford this thing, but the cooler keeps the ice in perfect condition for organ transportation. Will only buy Yeti from now on!

    Was sceptical at first wondering if it was really worth the money or just another trending brand. I will vouch for this cooler any day. Went to the greys river fishing for 8 days in august and when we returned the cooler still had over half the ice. Brother in law went through 12 bags of ice and had to drive into town to get more.

    I read several reviews about this cooler both good and bad. I needed a cooler big enough and hold enough ice to last for 5 days because we were hunting a remote area. This cooler filled the bill. I forgot to mention, the cooler was used in SW Florida at (98-100 degrees) the end of July and stayed under a black tonneau cover for 5 days. The cooler still had 50% of the ice on day 6. I really like having a drain on both ends that seal perfectly. Good thing I bought it because we had lots of ice for drinks.

    Returned it. Very little of 50 lbs of ice melted after 4 days. It’s a terrific insulator. However, the threads for the plugs (2) are the problem. Mine slowly leaked. The plastic threads (that were molded or threaded into the cooler so the plugs could screw in) were faulty so the plug wouldn’t seal. I went to Academy and looked at several Yetis on the shelf and found this to be common. No hole looked the same! I found a good one, purchased it and am very happy again. Great cooler; make sure it won’t leak and you’ll be happy too.

    Where have you been all my life! Very well designed and very well made! Awesome! This will be something I hand on to the next generation, I brought the Yeti 65 and the Yeti 125. Love them both. Recently used as a second refrigerator’s for a big family event, the ice inside lasted almost a week before it started to really melt. I will get a lot of use out of these, worth every penny.Also, because some 1 star reviewers mentioned it, I admire the company for their position on various social issues, all the more reason I am proud to buy Yeti.

    Love it. Went on a long road trip. Kept baby’s breast milk still completely frozen on his side of the cooler. 5 and a half hour drive.Bought a smaller size completely for his mil now I know it’s quality. Thanks YETI.

    What a cooler this is! Although it is extremely heavy, it keeps ice solid for days! Other coolers i have had, the ice melts over night therefore, items get soggy and the cooking effect is gone.
