My husband ordered me a Ninja Foodi for Christmas. We weren’t able to order it from Amazon because he waited to the last minute and Everyone was sold out. He ended up ordering it from the company directly with an expected receiveing date three weeks after his initial order. This would have put us about mid January to receive the product. Though I didn’t receive it Christmas Day it did arrive the day after. I was truly impressed and overjoyed with the company determination for me to get this item as fast as possible. Though a day late, the best was literally saved for last. Any who, after throughly reading the instructions and performing the test run to familiarize myself with the pressure cooker I finally made a meal it in yesterday. This machine did not disappoint at all! I’m a home cooker and baker I tend be a perfectionist and for me to write this review speaks volumes on how much I love this machine. Now the instructions does say not to exceed certain weigh limit with food. I’m fine with that but I already had a 6lb whole chicken in my freezer which does exceed the max of 5lbs as stated in the book. I did my math to make sure I had enough fluid and time based on the increased pound of the chicken. I seasoned it how I wanted, pressure cooked it for 35 minutes and then used the crisper for 20 Minutes. When I tell you that chicken came out amazing and juicy I couldn’t believe it. After the chicken rested I used the juice in the bottom of the pot to make a gravy. I turn the machine to sear and made the gravy right in the same pot in less than a 10 minutes. I was totally blown away, my family loved it and now I’m thinking of different receipts to try in it. For this being my first pressure cooker which is an all in one this by far was the best purchase. If you follow as directed an extra pound won’t hurt but I would recommend not exceeding that. Read the instructions, practice it and even if you think you got it down read it again. I can’t stress to you how dangerous a pressure cooker is. I took a few days and familiarized myself with the machine before use. Nine times out of ten people with negative reviews didn’t throughly read about the product and or practice which leads to user error. A quick note: I don’t mind the attached lid, I have tons of lids for different appliances all over and it usually turns into a hunting session before cooking to find everything. The machine is heavy coming in at 26lbs, some people have a problem with that I don’t. This is not the kind of product that should be moved about, find a spot and keep it there (No different than a KitchenAid Mixer). My machine fits directly under my cabinet with the crisper lid down and the pressure lid sitting on top. The only downfall so far which will change soon is I haven’t had much luck finding a cover for it. Guess I’ll have to sew one. I Hope you enjoy the machine as much as I do and this review, Happy Cooking.

Love this Foodi! Have cooked a whole chicken, fresh chicken wings and a leg of lamb in it. All comes out great, beautiful crispy/browned exterior. Very juicy interior. Need to try the dehydrator function still.

WOW! This Ninja Foodi is excellent. Practically cook all meals in the foodi now. Only regret is I bought the 6.5 not the 8 quart. This appliance has rekindled my live for cooking. BBQ Ribs->easy, Chicken Wings->easy, Turkey Breast->easy in only 1.5 hours from FROZEN! If you can afford it, I’d reccomend going ahead and buying 8 at. This product is great.

THIS PRODUCT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT WHEN I WAS 20 YRS OLD…. SO SAD, AS IT IS WAY TO HEAVY FOR ME TO LIFT AND DO NOT HAVE THE ROOM ON MY KITCHEN COUNTER SPACE. I WAS HOPING TO GET RID OF 3 DIFFERENT COOKERS… THESE 3 COOKERS I CAN MANAGE LIFTING. IF YOU HAVE THE ROOM IN YOUR KITCHEN I THINK THIS WOULD BE THE ONLY COOKING GADJIT YOU WOULD EVER NEED. I HAVE TO SEND MINE BACK 🙁

I love the air fryer function, but the fact that you can pressure cook and then crisp is so great. Haven’t tried dehydrating yet, but plan to soon.
