    After doing quite a bit of research, I settled on this version of the Yeti-like coolers. I saw the predecessor (MeadowCraft) at my local Ace Hardware store and liked the added features over the similar Yeti, not to mention the much better price point. We added the divider and metal basket to our cooler and have been very happy with the entire set-up.I have to add my only dislike of this cooler was the lack of a feature found both in the MeadowCraft and an online review of this same cooler from 2017. In both, I found the 2 piece drain system (Cap separate from plug) very handy and the main stem of the drain plug had holes cross drilled to allow draining without complete removal. Unfortunately, when I received this cooler, the plug was one piece without any holes drilled in it. Not a deal breaker, but be aware in case this is a deciding factor for anyone buying it.

    Great cooler. Built solid like more expensive brands. That said, they could beef up packaging and I think it would eliminate the negatives reviews for damaged products since the drain valve protrudes. The box you receive is 1/8″ thick at best and is the only thing between the cooler and transportation variables. A Manilla folder with bubble wrap would offer better protection in transit. After receiving this cooler, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this brand again.

    The product (cooler) itself is perfect! Very similar to a Yeti and after reading extensive reviews of the product and seeing it for myself the features and overall build of the nice cooler make it equal in quality if not better. You are paying for the name “Yeti” people don’t be stupid! Yeti makes a great cooler, however for half the price not purchasing this cooler is foolish.The one and only complaint I have is due to shipping. The first Nice cooler I purchased I received in a flimsy half torn apart box, the cooler was damaged and so was the seal! I decided to give them another chance return my old cooler for a new one. The second box came in and to no surprise poor packaging once again! There is literally no bubble packaging or insulation between the box or cooler to prevent it from being damaged! Why? Nice and or their distributors need to fix this problem. I lucked out on the second cooler no damage at all although the box looked like it had been run over.

    Overall a good cooler for the price point. Used it for camping, held food, 2 cases of beer, and a 20lb bag of ice.Pros:- Insulates well, held a 20lb bag of ice for 3 days with about 75% remaining- solid molded construction- solid hinges- fast deliveryCons:- cheap drain plug, looks to be about a .04” thick drain plug cover that’s attached to a chain. Took about 2 hours for someone to accidentally get the chain entangled with their boot to rip it off, now water leaked out the center of the plug- rubber foot fell off first use, trying to slide it in my truck, now wobbles. Pro tip; non slip cooler doesn’t slip into a truck. Probably my bad.- I may upgrade to 4 stars depending on how easy it is to get replacement parts.

    Purchased this cooler in December 2018 and had it shipped the first part of 2019. The cooler has been stored in a climate controlled storage unit and used about 3 times. The last time I used it (last week 9-12 Aug) I put 60 lbs of ice in it and it began melting immediately. Some melting is expected but when you claim to hold ice for nearly a week, I expect it to hold ice for somewhere close to a week…not melt 60 lbs of ice in 3 days. It appears the lid has warped and is not sealing where the metal plate for locking is installed.I’ve called the factory and emailed and so far it doesn’t matter if it’s an hour before their announced closing time or three hours before their announced closing time, I get the same message about their “office hours”. It would be awesome if they’d answer the phone during their “office hours”….or check out that “reply” button on their email system…that would be great too.So here I am, middle of summer, with a $200 ice chest that doesn’t hold ice as long as my $40 igloo. There a lot of 1-star reviews around for this cooler and most with the same complaint. Before you buy try calling the customer service line and see what you get. You can expect the same after you buy one. I strongly recommend buying another brand of cooler.

    We love this cooler, very sturdy and heavy. Got this to strap to a cargo carrier on back of RV, it travels well. I can’t comment yet on how long it holds ice yet, as we haven’t hit hit weather yet; I expect it will match claims as every other claim has met expectations with flying colors. Price is fantastic, could buy two of these for the cost of one of the well-known brands! I would highly recommend!

    Just as nice as the over priced name brands. Heavy duty. Good quality construction. It has the pressure relief button, a place for the cutting board divider. It had held ice for 5 days in 90°+ weather. It is fairly heavy to pick up.

    Haphazardly packaged in a box that was bulging at the tape seam. No padding to protect the expensive cooler. Cooler seemed to fare well despite the poor packing, haven’t used it yet, but seems like it will work just fine. Plastic shavings in drain plug threads, and improperly installed rubber plug. But I can deal with that for the cost savings of more expensive identical coolers.

    Really well made roto moulded cooler. It kept our items cold over a multiple day camping trip. Bottle opener works great and latches keep things locked in really well. Very happy with its performance especially given it was much cheaper than some comparable options from other companies. Only thing I’d remark is the cooler is quite heavy on its own empty so is defintely a beast when loaded up and a 2 person job carrying. Would be awesome if it had wheels to help with moving but overall very happy with the purchase.

    I only got the cooler but the quick drain plug cap has been damaged in shipping. The cooler looks awesome and seems to be good quality. I’ll edit my post later once I get some ice in the cooler and see how it works

    This cooler is the best thing I ever bought off amazon. It’s holds ice just as long as the yeti for a fraction of the price and built just as good. I went camping for a week and with a bit of frozen food and a couple ice packs the food stayed fridge cold even after opening multiple times a day.
