This 6-piece Combo kit is built for the pro-user who requires a wide range of best-in-class cordless solutions for drilling, driving, fastening, cutting, grinding, and lighting.

The XT612M includes a Brushless hammer driver-drill with two speed settings, a Brushless impact driver with 1, 500 in.Lbs. Of max torque, a Brushless 6-1/2” Circular saw with a full 5, 000 RPM for faster cutting, a Brushless Recipro saw with two speed settings and a 1-1/4” stroke length for faster cutting, and a Brushless 4-1/2″/5″ Cut-Off/ angle Grinder with 8, 500 RPM.

The kit also includes a four-position flashlight with a single Xenon bulb that provides 180 lumens. It’S a one-stop solution for a wide range of applications.

The kit includes two 18V LXT 4.0Ah batteries, and each reach a full charge in only 40 minutes on the efficient Rapid optimum charger – the fastest charge-time in the Category – for less downtime and increased productivity. For added convenience, the batteries feature an integrated L.E.D. Battery charge level indicator.

It’S part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT system, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion batteries.

    Yes!!! I upgraded from the 3.0 amp Makita combo I bought in 2006. Every component exceeded my expectations. At 58, I smile every time I pick up one of these tools and don’t have to mess with cords, heavy saws, etc. I splurged, and I have no regrets. Contractor–20+ years remodeling historic homes.

    All the tools are of high quality and perform above my expectations. I’ve used all the tools and am amazed at the power and battery life. The circular saw is powerful and performs well. Minor nit is the blade guard needs to be manually retracted for some cuts in thin paneling due to the shape of the guard. The reciprocating saw is fabulous with kudos to the tool free blade change. The grinder outperforms my older Makita corded grinder. The drill/driver/hammer drill is excellent although the low speed is a bit fast for me. The driver works well but probably won’t be used much given the handiness of the drill/driver. The flashlight works well, but could use a dimmer or lower light level for long term use (like in a power outage). All in all, a great deal. I’d give it five stars if the flashlight and driver were swapped with an oscillating saw. Highly recommended.

    Rock Solid, Very powerful kit! Came from a DeWalt 18v Ni-Cad system and couldn’t be happier. I use this equipment on a daily basis as I am a low voltage/ security contractor. My DeWalt was about 10 yrs old and a great kit for it’s day, but I have absolutely no complaints about this kit. The More I use it, the more I love this kit!!!

    These power tools are extremely high quality. I observe a lot of milling quality in the metal instead of powered metal casting. Battery Charger is super fast. I feel anyone that buys this especially a DIYer will not regret it.

    This kit is a fantastic value. All brushless tools and 2 four amp batteries. This kit has the better storage bag as well. Has the retractable handle and wheels that allow you to roll it around vs carrying. I’m a professional contractor and I’ve been using makita products since 2010. They have an ever expanding line of tools. There’s really nothing they dont have in their cordless line up. I am still using the 7 piece kit I bought in 2010. Most of those tools had brushes and every one of them are still working as they should. 1 of those batteries died after I dropped it from a ladder. The other one still working. Very rate, I know. I’ve bought several more batteries since 2010 whenever they’re on sale. I added numerous other cordless makita tools to my bag. These are great tools at a great value.

    After over a year of eyeing this set, i pulled the trigger and got it.An amazing set, every tool is made great, with the famous Makita quality.on top of that, AliExpress has plenty of Chineseium fake batteries and other tools that will work with these sets and batteries for a fraction of the price.i could not be happier.One critic i do have – for the impact driver, the direction switch is a position too low and i always switch it by mistake. would love it if it would be harder to change o just be located higher.The 4.5 grinder is great for cutting metal, grinding or sanding.the 7.25 circ saw is great – it completely repaces my 250$ Magnesium Skillsaw. it might be less powerful. but as im not a pro, using a cordless device is way easier than the pro toolThe Sawzall works great as well, with a 12-inch blade. i used it to cut roots of plants in the ground and do all sorts of crazy cuts.highly recommend.

    Makita tools are great quality. I am a professional fabricator and have been using them for more than a decade.. I got robbed by an electrician I had hired and had to replace my travel tools fast.. it’s definitely worth it to save $400 and get the same kit with lower amp batteries (that’s where they get you). It seems like everywhere I look I find a better deal than what I got with this particular kit* The review is not about the quality of the tools, Makita makes great tools*

    Definitely a great quality tools outperforming any other tools I have used past 35 years, feels very balanced and powerful, batteries last a long time. If using as a professional or hobbies I will definitely recommend this brand it’s more expensive but worth it.
