This things works! I’m very impressed by how much dog hair this vacuum picks up. I have huskies and my floor gets covered with hair. I have not seen my carpets this clean in a longtime. It was easy to put together and dumping the “dirty” stuff is a breeze. Yes the vacuum is a little heavier but you are getting quality not junk plastic and is well worth the price. I also love that the hose is clear so you can see any clogs that may occur from heavy dog hair. The attachments are also great. I’m in love and will highly recommend this vacuum to others

I rarely leave reviews but this was worth taking the time to type one out. This vacuum is great. I have 2 cats that shed like crazy. I’ve been using a robot vacuum for a while and the way my condo is set up there are cords and things that stop it. It got tiresome having to watch it, control it etc. I have “pet hair” vacuums in the past, was very apprehensive after spending $$ on another one that didn’t do a good job, left clumps of hair etc. This one works great, granted I’ve only used it twice but it’s been as advertised so far. After getting the correct carpet setting dialed in this thing sucked, in a good way. No clumps of hair left behind, pulled up more hair and dust than I expected. The only issue is that I thought my carpets were cleaner than they really were so it make me feel a bit trashy…just kidding. I highly recommend this vacuum. I will update in the future if there are any long term problems,

I have been using Bissell or Eureka’s for years. My Bissell broke 3 weeks ago. I have Aussies and they she’d a LOT, as you can see in the photo. 3 weeks of no vacuuming left a furry mess. The Hoover tackled it with no problem! It pulled so much sand and dust out of the carpet. My dogs are working dogs on my farm. Yes, I had to stop and empty the bin FREQUENTLY, but it was doing a great job getting all of the hair out of the carpet.I noted the vacuum has self-propulsion until the bin needs emptied. So, keep the bin cemptied and the vacuum does the work!

Had a very similar model for about 6 years (purchased from WalMart), which worked fine one time and was completely dead the next time it was turned on. This replacement Hoover Wind Tunnel 3 Max Performance is a great upgrade in almost every way! It is slightly lighter, more easily maneuvered, the manual carpet height adjustment dial is a lot easer to manipulate, and it seems much more powerful and has better suction/cleaning than the older model. We have 2 dogs that shed, so the vacuum is used 3x a week at least. That being said, it is bagless. Even though the directions say to empty the cannister “when full” I find it necessary to empty after every use. If it isn’t emptied, it becomes clogged. While the mechanism to open the canister is easy, the emptying of the canister is icky. Open it over a large trash can. Most of the dirt falls out pretty easily, but the pet hair is very difficult to remove from the canister – static electricity maybe?? I must bang on the sides pretty hard to loosen it and the remaining dust, and even then there is quite a bit of hair and “dust” remaining in the cannister. I disassemble the cannister, soak and wash it with soap and water about once a month – taking apart,. washing, and reassembling isn’t too difficult or time consuming. However, the parts have to be completely dry before reassembling and using. The cord is a few feet shorter on this new model of the Hoover Wind Tunnel Max 3. I like this upgraded model very much for great overall performance, even though the cannister is still yukky. Order was fulfilled accurately and promptly. Item was delivered new condition and in original box.

Had to replace very old original Hoover Windtunnel. This new one is lighter and materials seem cheap because all plastic parts are lighter and thinner. Now have had for a few months and so far it gets the job done and seems to maneuver well. But the original is a very heavy awkward machine so anything might seem easier. I have a thick, medium pile carpet and it pulled carpet up just as the old one did except it leaves more tracks in carpet than the original. Tools are thin plastic, telescoping wand does not stay extended, and bristles on dusting tool are thin. Tools fall off machine pretty easily. Instructions are not real clear and since this is my first bag less it took a few to figure out how to free dirt cap from machine. Handle is very cheap and not finished on underside. Cord is shorter than my old one and the vacuum still tips over when using attachments. I have tried many vacuums, Dyson, Bissell, Oreck, Hoover Wind Tunnel 2 Whole House, none had the suction or picked up as much. The new Dyson’s are nice and have very good suction but are not good on heavy pile carpets. They don’t have height adjustment and they suck down into pile carpets and won’t move. Going to keep this one and see if it lasts. Already have a small Black and Decker canister that has good attachments and easy to carry around so the Hoover attachments will go in a bucket to be used in an emergency. Gave a 4 star because attachments really don’t work well and are cheap but loving the suction on this for carpets.

More suction then my old vac. And it cost $400 or more dollars and claimed to be the world strongest suction… this vacume beat it in every aspect… great product

Piece broke off during assembly ! I called customer service to see about replacement parts, waited on hold for 10 minutes then gave up. Fitting to attach brushes chipped and had two inch crack before I finished a single room!! How do these folks stay in business? Great suction, but plastic parts and fittings are worthless! Waste of time and money.

Purchased product about 1.5 months ago and used it many times since it was purchased. My early review suggests that the vacuum works as advertised. This unit replaced another brand that I had for 10 plus years. I must admit, the old dirt extracted from the carpet was amazing, even after the second sweep. With that, early on I am pleased with the vacuum, the suction power and ease of use. It is too early to tell about the reliability of the unit’s performance down the road but again, if early indications carry over to a year or two, it’s a keeper.
