    I love it. My husband don’t care for it.I got this for our daughter (3 at the time) started having respiratory issues. We have a cat and also carpeting so I figured the dust & cat hairs were causing it. The hubs doesn’t think this works because there wasn’t much improvement in our daughter’s condition. But when I showed him how much dust & cat hair this collects he was mind blown. I vacuum the carbon filter every month or so and replace it every few months. The amount collected is really scary. He’s still skeptical about how effective it is to help with the air quality but to me, even a little bit helps. Our daughter’s asthma is more well controlled now and it may be because of this or it may not but I’m not going to stop using it. It puts my mind at ease knowing at least SOME of the air pollutants are being sucked away. We’re going to be moving to a larger house soon and will definitely get their larger 300 version. I feel it’s worth the investment.We have this set to auto and have it run 24/7 so sometimes it gets a bit loud if it thinks there’s high pollutant (red color) at the time. If it’s at low (blue color) we can’t even hear it. But even when it’s loud it’s not even that bad. I guess we learned to tune it out.Also, we don’t use their Fellows carbon filter. Amazon sells the generic filter that you can cut to size. It works just as good. It makes replacing them less painful because the filter’s are so much cheaper.

    Has replaced my bedroom fan. I crank this up to level 3 to sleep at night. My dogs seem to like it too surprisingly. I’ll see them huddled under my bed in that small room so they must enjoy the air quality in there or else they’d buzz off somewhere far away. I’ve had to change the carbon filter a few times and that gets expensive but it really does get filthy with dust. It was caked on there! But hey, that’s stuff I’m not breathing today so I have to be thankful. I run this 24/7 and get mad when someone shuts it off. It’s a bit inappropriate but the coolest thing is to rip a huge fart right next to it and have it sense it, turn red with rage, and then it automatically cranks up the power to maximum.

     So, I really liked this air purifier. Until the fan gave out, as you can see from pictures it still detects impurities in the air. But without a fan what is the use of having it. It provided some good white noise while I slept, it sensed odors in the air and adjusted its fan settings well, and it cleaned the air well. I would change out the carbon black filters every month because those get dirty the easiest and have changed the bigger white filter twice since buying it a few months back. I was even about to buy the bigger version of the fellowes air purifier for my living room…. but then the fan gave out and I apparently have to contact fellowes even though I bought the asurion insurance for it. It is a hassle because I don’t particularly like being on the phone but I will say that I did like this air purifier very much until it stopped working. I ended up buying a different air purifier from a different brand at a local store that if need be I can just return with a receipt.So I conclude with this, I am quite disappointed with the runaround given to resolve a problem that should be a quick fix. Don’t waste your money, time, or energy on an insurance that doesn’t want to honor fixing or replacing an item you pay the insurance for.

    We have two asthmatics in our family, live on a busy New York street, and have a pet. Needless to say, air quality is important to us particularly living in an urban environment. This air cleaner has done wonders for our apartment. We have the 300 in our living room, and the 100 in the bedrooms. Dust levels have gone down, and we’ve noticed a big difference in allergies and quality of breathing. The units clearly respond when there is a pollutant introduced. They also super quiet for an air purifier (though it is louder when on orange or red), actually providing a nice white noise at night. Great for those living in cities looking to drown out street noise without an annoying, loud sound machine. We keep the unit on auto with the ionizer turned off due to ozone concerns, but take advantage of the special setting for flu/cold season with kids in the house. Highly recommend!

    after a while it only works on high which is the noisiest setting I am thinking it won’t be long before it quits working completely. It is really awful things are made to break like this, and all the waste this plastic creates is really sad. I would not recommend this product

    I have tried several different air purifiers, and none of them seemed to make any difference…until this AeraMax! My son suffers from seasonal allergies & we also have a cat he is allergic to. I have this in his room, and he is definitely sleeping much better, less congestion & snoring. His room just feels cleaner. I am going to purchase another unit for the living room! I also turn off the ionizer, as I am torn about that function, so I like having the option to turn on & off! Highly recommend!

    I’ve been very pleased with this air purifier. We have 2 cats and dust and occasional odor were always in the utility room where we keep the cat box, and sometimes drifted through the house. Since adding this filter, you wouldn’t know we had a cat box, even when standing in the utility room. The reduction in both cat litter dust as well as odor has been amazing. I haven’t compared this to other devices, but this one certainly does the job!

    Returned my item after 2 days..when I was still a prime member. I still love purchasing things on Amazon, but this was not a good experience. There was a very chemical smell that first came with the product (which I know is often the case with cheaper products) which didn’t last super long, but the item itself was very faulty. It couldn’t detect air quality and changed settings every 2 seconds, before developing a high pitched sound and a rattle after a couple hours use. I’ve since bought another product and was extremely happy. My advice to everyone is that when it comes to air purifiers you are better off spending a bit more money to get proper value.

    Me gustó mucho su diseño y tamaño, funciona excelente en el cuarto. No me encanta que no es posible programarlo para que se apague.Le daría 5 estrellas pero para mi gusto es más ruidoso de lo que esperaba e imagine en base a otros comentarios. No podemos dormir si está prendido por el ruido aún en el nivel más bajo. Fuera de eso la verdad es que funciona muy bien y se siente el cambio del aire en la habitación.

    Muy buena calidad de materiales, el sensor logra detectar olores de manera automática cómo lo menciona. Vivo en una zona árida así que la cantidad de polvo que está en el hogar es considerable además presentó rinitis alérgica, cuando duermo con el purificador puede dormir tranquilo, el ruido en el nivel 1 es lo suficientemente silencioso para dormir, las luces pueden ser un poco molestas pero puedes poder el equipo de espaldas o en una dirección opuesta a tu rostro. Ojo no es un ventilador no esperen sentir ráfagas de aire

    bought another one of these after my first one clunked out, after three years. it’s a good purifier for medium sized rooms that rids of smells and allergens. I used this at night to help me breath as I have asthma and three pets. I like that you can turn off the ionizer. it’s a bit loud for me at night unless I set it to the first setting but over all, it’s not loud. I bought the Levoit HEPA purifier from Amazon for work and it doesn’t compare to this one!

    Very good air filter, a bit noisy at max setting for my liking, just for trying to fall asleep with it on auto when it goes to speed 3, and that’s the only reason it’s not 5 stars. But we use it regularly throughout the house to help improve the air quality for our newborn and it doesn’t disappoint. This is a top notch machine for a very affordable price. We live in an extremely dusty oil and gas town, and this thing does it’s job in spite of that, so if you need something that works good and dependably, just get this.

    Todo muy bien en cuanto a calidad/precio. Sientes que respiras aire limpio (como cuando sales al bosque). Me ayudó a contrarrestar alergias respiratorias y por lo tanto a dormir mejor.Le daría 5 estrellas si pudiera fuera posible programarlo para apagarse por tiempo.
