    I have been in construction as a business owner now for 30 years….This saw lasted only 3 weeks in our cabinet shop.The arbor and bearings have failed already showing as though the blade was warped….well the blade is fine.Do not buy This cheaply made name brand product.The name is not what it use to be!

    I’ve owned a couple saws over the years and this is my favorite one for sure! It does have one idiosyncrasy I find very annoying though – – – If you make a cut and push the saw arm down all the way, it will lock in the down position and you have to reach around to unlock it again. Not sure why Dewalt designed it that way – annoying – but not a deal breaker for an otherwise great saw!

    The blade warped my first day using it cutting one inch decking. Dewalt said they had never heard of such a thing. Waited 4 days for the replacement blade. It never arrived! Done with Dewalt!

    After about 15 years, we wore out our previous Dewalt miter saw and purchased this one as the replacement, because it’s the same model. It has a couple of improvements over the old saw, but overall appears to be the same quality saw. The material hold down clamp that it comes with is pretty cheesy because it can get in the way with the saw coming down if used on the right side of the saw, so we don’t use it.

    I needed a large miter saw for my wood working, a sliding miter wood be nice but really 99% of my cuts are under 6″.For the price and readiness to use , it is well worth it. for now I just screwed it to an old workmate I had in the garage and I was using it minutes after I took it out of the box. It has a nice handle and operating trigger that is really comfortable to use and the guard does not get in the way like some other saws I have.

    I have used DeWalt and another major brand as my “go to” power tools and found them to be consistent quality products. This compound mitre saw is no exception. It feels solid and well made with good safety features. Glad I went with the 12 inch rather than 10 inch, it just seems to be more versatile and can handle larger lumber. The blade that comes with the saw is for cutting things like building lumber so I bought a fine blade for stuff that will need smoother cuts. Very happy with this purchase.

    La sierra se ve de excelente calidad. Se siente la potencia del motor y, a pesar de tener un disco de 32 dientes, realiza los cortes bastante decentes. Muchos comentan que la sierra no tiene la prensa, pero si la incluye por lo menos en esta publicación. Si quieren mejorarla un poco añadan un disco de 80 dientes y una aspiradora en lugar de la bolsa para el aserrín. El precio en esta publicación es el mejor que encontré aunque podría mejorar, no paguen más por esta sierra.

    Excellent saw. Haven’t used the stock blade though. Put a Diablo finishing blade on it immediately. Very accurate and light weight. Glad I went with the 12” over the 10” saw. The extra cut capacity I didn’t think I needed I needed already 2 months after purchase.I have limited space but this saw fits my work space great. A slider is too big. Just wish the clamp it came with was of better quality but more important to me I would like to see some slide out material supports. Dust collection works ok (like most miter saws). I do like that it accepts the same locking DeWalt hose adapter as my orbital sander.Great saw.
