Awesome light…if you don’t mind the constant buzzing. Dewalt says the buzzing is normal, ” it’s the transformer making the noise”. It’s a better design than Milwaukee’s, but Milwaukee’s doesn’t buzz like crazy.Don’t buy from Max Tool their satisfaction guaranty comes with a 20% plus shipping price tag.

Light works well and light is very generous and is very pleasing. What boggles my mind is that in the warning section of the manual; it says to not expose to light rain or snow. The outdoor rating of IP54.. This means a level of protection of dust and water ingress. (water ingress:: will resist splashing water). I don’t know about you dewalt; but the majority of people don’t have the opportunity to work inside. I guess I should have done my homework a bit more to find a light that works outdoors. My solution for me is that I purchased those hat umbrellas. Now we are rain resistant. Now I am IP 51..

Bright light lasts about 4 hrs on the brightest setting using a 6amp 60v battery. Super light weight compared to the dewalt tripod light. Took a long time to get to me though.

This is a nice, portable light with decent light output. I think it drains the battery a little too quickly but that is just my opinion. I also find the light to be a little dim even at the highest setting. It is nice to be able to grab this light and move it around easily. To be honest, if I have to move it just a couple of feet along the floor I find it very convenient to just move/kick it with my foot. It is very durable and does not tend to tip over. Nice light.

This is a great work light. I use it a lot. Super bright, It has a nice hook on the back to hang it from framing or you can mount it on your survey/laser tripod. only complaint is that is will suck up battiest pretty quickly. I use it with the big 60v flex volt batteries and it will run for quite a while but with smaller batteries you will be chasing it a lot.

Love this portable light! Pair it with a flexvolt battery and it will last almost all day.. I work in attics so it’s perfect, no need to look for an extension or a plug. Its also very sturdy I’ve dropped it several times on concrete and there hasn’t been any visible or interior damage. It’s also great bc it doesn’t give off heat. Also love the hook it has bc I can easily hang it from a strap.

I haven’t had this light more than a couple of weeks and I’ve already used it under 2 car hoods to see under the hood, and to light up half of my barn when a door came off the track at night. So much easier than using a couple of my handheld lights, and does a great job of covering a wide area. It does seem to chew through the 6ah batteries faster than expected, though I haven’t had it completely burn through one yet. I’m just used to recharging the one in my handheld lights once every couple of weeks vs every time I run it for more than 3 hrs.

Light works as expected. Blue tooth function is a added bonus. For it just being released and getting it for $175 was a bonus. Max Tool stepped up and honored a price difference. With not too much difficulty.

I don’t even get 2 hours on a 5 amp battery outta this thing…. so unless dewalt makes a 40 amp battery the size of my head the ‘11 hours run time’ is BS. Otherwise excellent and would have got 5 stars.

I absolutely love using this light on site. The brightness is great and lights up the area I’m working in no problem. The light has a solid construction and it’s more lightweight than I expect. The built in hook has been very useful aswell. My only negative comment would be how fast it will drain batteries. On full brightness I can easily go through two Flexvolt 6ah batteries a day. While it’s a little annoying the brightness of the light makes it worth it.

This is an awesome light in every way with the exception of the DeWALT connect feature. It doesn’t work. I can’t get it to connect no matter what I do. Other than that it is a great product
