Over all both tools are not bad. the Driver is great other then the poor placement of the forward/reverse switch. The placement may be fine if the made it take more effort to activate the switch. The router has a few flaws. I am really not a fan of the quick chuck for changing bits, I’d say 50% of the time when you think the quick chuck is disengaged and you fire it up that head locks up because the chuck somehow was still engaged. Another issue (at least on mine) is that the power switch is hard to operate, as in you have to wiggle it or adjust it to get the switch to slide.

Having used corded tools my whole drywall career I was skeptical. These work great, batteries are great. The screw gun takes some getting used to if you are used to a corded one. I would recommend getting another larger battery for the zip (cutout tool) as it uses a lot of power. I use a 5 amp battery for that, that way I always have an extra when it’s time for one to be charged. I love not dealing with a tangled mess of cords on the job.

I am a Drywall contractor and use both of these tools every day! I thoroughly enjoy their dependability!!

Seams to work well. Roto does have some vibration more then our rotozip. But no core makes it great for new construction or hanging drywall.

  5. very addictive, I will have to rate this high. I give it a 5

This was a gift to my husband. He is hangs drywall. Has always used a corded drywall screw gun and corded router. The tools work very well, holds a charge longer than my husband thought. The carrying case is also very much liked. Will be ordering another for the son.

very addictive, I will have to rate this high. I give it a 5

Everything works perfect, no more cables or extra weight in my tool box, over two thousand screws in and a few electrical boxes cutoff, can’t go back to corded tools

Experienced user who thought the screw gun was great. I also purchased the collator for the screw gun, and it even made the job possible by screwing in the drywall for the ceiling by standing on the ground. Less time on a ladder during construction is always great. The Cut out tool has been great, too.

I love it and it’s way cheaper on here than it is at Home Depot or Lowe’s the battery lasted me about 5 to 6 hours

  9. Prospect Projects

Used the drywall gun with the attachment a few times, works very well and have no complaints. It really speeds up the job, very good for large areas but not that great in tight corners, but i get to those without the attachment and it works just fine. The cut out tool works great on siding, drywall and wood, but buy extra bits as they are fragile

The screwgun only works for heavy gauge steel studs or wood studs..it spins too fast for regular light gauge studs..its fine if your a residential drywaller

Exactly as expected. Good cost effective pricing (less than my home town Home Depot). Arrived on time even though it was around Christmas when package volume is high. Does what is expected of it. Am happy with how both tools perform and am adding to my 20V selection of DeWalt tools. Will be looking to Amazon for other tools in the same line.

Item was exactly what I expected and arrived quickly. The price was very good and compared to our local stores but the cut out tool was a extra and that was really helpful

add the collated attachment and a couple buckets of collated screws, and this set makes mounting and cutting drywall a breeze! Don’t forget to get batteries (not included) as well!
