    I have many dewalt srew guns and drills. Put off buying this impact for a long time. Wow, now that I have used it on the job, I am ordering another.the tool is rugged, balanced and plenty of power for decking, steelbuilding const. , sheds, and much more.I was impressed with how long the battery lasts between charges. It charges up quickly. You can use the included belt clip or put it in the tool belt (light weight). It is very powerful for a small tool.

    I love the Dewalt 20v tool arsenal. They work so well and all the 20v lithium ion batteries work with every tool. This impact driver works great and delivers an insane amount of power to any screw or bolt you are driving in. The battery lasts a long time due to the brushless motor and it feels great in your hand. I highly recommend this kit to anyone looking to add a solid impact driver to their collection.

    Dewalt has the formula here. This is my second Dewalt, moving up from older 19V. The jump from regular driver to impact is as big as moving from manual to battery screw drivers decades ago. This particular unit is lower cost than many Dewalt impact drivers, but it has plenty of power (i.e. 12″ SDWH slide in easily), I don’t need the speed range select, and it has fine battery life.

    Very disappointed to see DeWalt tools that are fully made in China, when they advertise how many tools they make in the USA. Save your money and buy one of the DeWalt tools that you know are made in America.

    I have used a dcf887 for years. In practical function this is the same without the power selector. But Is rated at lower torque. It isn’t any smaller at all.

    The features like weight, size, variable speed trigger,, and led lights are a nice combination. I have no complaints up to now. I use it frequently although haven’t used it long enough to judge the battery life or re-charge frequency.
