Delivering all of the power and performance that anglers have come to expect, the Daiwa Lexa Type-WN 300 and 400 Casting Reels offer even more comfort and control with the addition of custom Winn Grip handle knobs.

Built to handle just about anything, they utilize Daiwas Carbon Ultimate Tournament Drag that outputs up to 22 lbs. of max drag, giving anglers true stopping power.

The smooth seven-ball-bearing drive system uses two corrosion-resistant bearings, four bearings and infinite anti-reverse with Dual Stopper.

Swept handle design has weight-reducing cutouts and aluminum frame and sideplate on the gearside keep weight low.

Extra line capacity for larger game fish. Magforce cast control reduces backlashes.

    I just used the 300 size and on the first throw and every throw the reel screeched like a banshee. It casted a mile anyways and the revival was smooth. It handled small bonitos very well, my only concern is the screeching issue (which I believe is caused by debris in the centrifugal breaks). I will break it apart and clean it well I just wish I didn’t have to do this as soon as I got it this usually happens more down the line as you break it in and over the course of several uses.

    This is on my go to rod for fishing saltwater bass at Catalina island. It casts very far and is so easy to reel in with the linewinder and adequate 25 lbs of drag pressure to handle those hefty fish. The Winn handle is also very comfortable in your hand.Great reel.

    This reel needed grease right out of the box. Not the first time daiwa reel was like this for me. After first trip with it the drag was locking up on a fish.I would return it but I’m past the return period… Last time I buy a daiwa reel.
