    This is a terrific product, and the “black stainless” color is so much less obtrusive than brushed stainless. We’ve used it every day since delivery, most recently to bake a peach pie. Everything (except potatoes) gets done faster than expected, and at a lower temperature. I particularly like that the light can be left on so you can see when the food is done or ready to turn over. I got this model at a friend’s recommendation, and could not be more pleased with it.

    After reading some of the other reviews I initially experimented at lower temps with air fry, convection and baking. it’s definitely hotter than a conventional oven so you have to check on what you’re making periodically. The Air fry function is great but you do have to flip the food mid way through cooking time. I personally never turn on anything to cook and walk away for an hour so, If you can’t pay attention, this might not be for you. I love it so far, finished food quality so far has been good. I use my toaster oven daily to heat up my dinner when i get home from work because I hate microwaved food. I will definitely be using this a lot. Lots of functionality in a good size.

    I’ve waited until after we used the oven for awhile to write a review. That way I can be more honest and factual.I’m not easily impressed, but this air fryer method is amazing! I was surprised at the taste that was retained by the food, and the lower calorie content is an added bonus! Food tasting that good should be sinfully full of calories. It isn’t.The only downside is that if you have sensitive smoke detectors, you’ll get to hear if they work. E solved the problem by opening a French door.

    I am new to air frying but so far really like it. Super fast and healthy. Switched my appliances to black stainless so this was the reason I picked the Cuisineart besides the reviews. I works reallywell on all settings. The 3 stars on easy to use are because the nobs are really hard to read without a flashlight – just an indent on the plastic knob. So I took some white paint and a tiny brush and filled in the indent so I can easily see what each is set at. Now I no longer burn my food. Purchased a washable oven liner to go in the very bottom and especially in the frying shelf under the basket for quick cleaning.

    I will admit, I use the air fryer 99% of the time, but it works great. It makes the best pork chops I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I now eat breaded mushrooms and tater tots too often, but it cooks everything perfectly. I bought an AmazonBasics kitchen cart to put this on top of, and it’s perfect for my little one bedroom apartment. Fits between my kitchen and computer desk (aka dining table, yes I’m a guy) perfectly as well.

    I was nervous about investing in this oven/airfryer combo unit, but turns out I was nervous about nothing! I have been so happy with this unit. I’ve had it for 2 months now and love it. We use the oven function almost daily. My teenagers like to make hot snacks after school and it was easy for them to learn. Really self explanatory. We’ve used the air fryer a number of times as well for French fries, chicken, crab cakes, tempura vegetables. Everything turns out great and cooks so quickly. It’s also an attractive appliance (as appliances go) and looks nice on the counter. I don’t believe you would be unhappy if you purchased this unit. Cuisinart makes top-notch products and I expect I will own this for many years/ decades to come.

    Ok, so we already have quite a few appliances on our counters. It took some convincing to talk my wife into getting this air fryer. If you ask her now…she LOVES it!! Toaster? Gone. Deep fryer? Gone! Toaster oven? Gone! One simple, multi-function, attractive, high quality appliance to rule them all! Great investment! Eat out less! No regrets whatsoever!

    Although I read the reviews about temperature control, I thought the positive reviews outweighed the negative. Boy was I wrong. The first thing I baked were biscuits. I adjusted the temperature down by 25° and time by 5 minutes. The biscuits were burnt in 9 minutes and only about half cooked on the inside. I wish I could rate the oven in the negative.I did learn to pay more attention to the negative reviews. Stay away from this item.
