Bought this set of drill to replace my dewalt 20V drills that were stolen. After reading reviews I was expecting the drills to be a good replacement but I was highly disappointed. If you work in construction, drill through concrete and other hard materials a lot, or use drills for hours at a time, then these drills are not for you. A few things I will note here.Cons:-The power/torque on these doesn’t measure up to or even come close to the dewalt drills.-The drill doesn’t come with a belt hook but it does have a place for you to install one after purchasing separately-Unlike the dewalt 20V drill, the hammer drill has only one light mode (for those who care)-The impact driver does have a light but it’s placed below the nozzle and not all around the nozzle as it is with the dewalt impact driver-Hammer drill comes with two power setting but I didn’t notice much difference between the two settings.Pros-great set of drill for a homeowner to have at the house-The drill is lightweight which makes in not place too much strain on your hand for extended use-battery charges pretty quickly. Got a full charge on a dead battery in about half an hour-Comes with a carrying/storage bag-The speed of the drill (like the dewalt) can be varied with the trigger and does so quite smoothly.I will be returning these and going back to dewalt.

… the first one we received had a defective battery, and we had to return the whole unit instead of just getting the battery replaced. Now that that’s out of the way, this set works great. We like that they’re light weight, yet sturdy and durable. The trigger controls the speed of the drill very precisely. It doesn’t take off like a rocket if you need a slow torque. It has good power, and is just what I needed for my diy homeowner projects.

Still testing/using these; great so far. Batteries are interchangeable with many other Craftsman cordless V20 tools. Charger base is simple to understand charging/charged; battery charge meter is easy to see/read. Tool bag is decent quality and had Tom for extras. Charger base does V20 & V12; don’t personally in/use any V12. Great price!

Just as good as Dewalt drill/driver for half the price.

The batteries charge quick! There was an issue with the impact driver that caused it to not work after being outside in colder temps for a short time and the work light would start flashing. It turned out being a loose connection on the battery which is an easy fix and Big relief. Everything else has been great.

Great set, not quite contractor grade but very close. Can take a beating though, and still get most jobs done.
