    Sometime it amazes how engineers can be so smart, and yet so stupid! I just received my new microwave oven and hooked it up only to discover that I cant read the function keys without a flashlight. The primary function keys are labeled with black lettering on a dark gray background. How stupid is that? To me, it’s very stupid. I am inclined to box this up and send it back. Or else I will have to print my own labels. It is also unbalanced; but I could fix that easy enough.

    I’m half deaf in my left ear, but even so, this unit is extremely loud while it’s cooking. And it’s not a nice background hum, but an angry buzz as if it were constructed with a whole nest worth of angry hornets sealed inside and trying to get out to murder you. But seriously, the buzz sounds more like something is broken rather than a normal operational sound, so it’s both distracting and worrying.On the plus side, the power rating seems accurate, and it heats up your food quickly. Also, it seems to use its size efficiently, providing a roomy interior in a compact package.     Please, consider my review before you buy. The product manual stated to test efficacy of microwave by heating 250cc of cool water in a cup for one minute. After the test the top of the microwave was very hot. I boxed up to send back immediately. It is very, very noisy and very cheaply constructed. I personally believe the product is unsafe for use.
